SATURDAY, AUGUST 27 AT GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL IN SAN FRANCISCO
Now in its milestone tenth year, Sleepless Nights continues to celebrate the music of Gram Parsons, who is often referred to as the pioneer of country rock. His music and legacy has developed a considerable cult following for his efforts to blur the line between rock & roll and country music during the late 1960's and early 1970's. Parsons' influence was pivotal in the development of such bands as The Byrds, The Eagles and The Rolling Stones. He also continues to inspire contemporary bands like Wilco, Dwight Yoakam and My Morning Jacket.
The Tenth Annual Sleepless Nights – A Tribute To The Music Of Gram Parsons is set for Saturday, August 27 at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. Click here for all ticketing information.
This year's event will benefit The Hickory Wind Ranch - a sober living environment in Austin, TX started by Gram's daughter Polly Parsons.
