After spending the majority of '03 on the road with such established acts as Dave Matthews Band, Willie Nelson, Tori Amos, moe., Maroon5, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, O.A.R.,and many more, Marc Broussard is currently gearing up for a West Coast run of dates with the Los Lonely Boys.

Broussard, a 22-year-old Louisiana native and third-generation musician, has been performing since the age of five. With soulful vocals, powerful lyrics, and a mix of R&B, rock, and soul, Broussard incorporates it all into a style that is completely his own. A seasoned veteran of the country's leading music festivals, Marc has also been confirmed to perform at this year's Jazz Fest (with Blind Boys of Alabama, Sonny Landreth and more), the Bonnaroo Music Festival, the first ever Wakarusa Festival, and the 4th Annual Rock Boat.
Broussard's major label debut will hit stores on August 3. Carencro is the follow-up to his independently released EP Momentary Setback, which garnered acclaim for the soul singer/songwriter. As with any truly talented musician, Marc's essence is truly captured in his stunning live performance. Atlanta's Creative Loafing says, "This Louisiana-based youngster plays and sings folk/R&B like he was born and raised in Motown or Chicago. After you see him once, you'll want another dose." The Nashville City Paper says, "Broussard is among the most forceful, animated and truly soulful singers of his generation."
