The 2nd annual Catskill Chill Music Festival has announced the first
round of bands for the 2011 event, once again taking place at beautiful
Camp Minglewood in Hancock, New York on September 9-11. Headlining this intimate
lakeside event are: Conspirator (featuring Marc Brownstein and Aron
Magner of the Disco Biscuits) and 7 Walkers. The Chill will also host Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Melvin Seals & JGB, and Perpetual Groove along with
many other bands and DJs. The festival's Saturday night headliner, as
well as additional artists, will be announced on Monday, June 6.
Catskill Chill 2011 will add a third day this year with gates opening at 9
AM on Friday, September 9 with music lasting until well past midnight
on Sunday, September 11. The festival will also add a third stage that
will host DJs at night and serve as an open-mic stage on Saturday and
Sunday afternoon.
A limited amount of Early Bird Weekend Passes are currently available
for $95 through the festival website, and Music Today. Camp
Minglewood also offers a wide range of accommodations from free
camping to cabin rentals, which also can be purchased by visiting the
festival website.
