Funkadelic | One Nation Under A Groove | 1978 - Priority
 Where would be without George Clinton and his many bands? That is a question I’m glad we don’t have to answer. There is a reason that this 1978 bomb is Funkadelic’s best selling album – because it is flat out epic. Bringing together everything from dance-heavy funk licks, social commentary, a few laughs and hard as nails rock, this album is quintessential and has served as a milestone for everything that came after it. This album covers so much ground that you can pop it in at the next late night party, listen to it on headphones or give your little sister a history lesson with it. You can get it all right here: “Goovallegiance,” “The Doo Doo Chasers,” and a heavy “Maggot Brain.” For ANYONE who is not intimately familiar with this monster, please, do us all a favor and get up to speed.
