Moonshine Still (MsS) began turning heads in the Southeast touring heavily around their home base of Macon, Georgia. Playing the local bars and hangouts they quickly made a name amongst the youth of the area. Originally formed in 1996, Moonshine Still's music is anywhere from rock to funk to metal to soul, they have it all. With David Shore on lead guitar and Trippe Wright on keys making melodies and layers, your better be ready for a ride that takes you far away. Will Robinson, Bill Jarrett, and Ray Petren make a tight rhythm section that allows the listener to settle in and groove deep. Scott Baston's vocals are the key factor in the makeup of this band. Having been raised in the churches of South Georgia, you can hear the good ol' boy ring out from his lungs. Moonshine Still is sure to be a band that you will be reading about for years to come.

Trying to lock down a major influence of the bands is next to impossible. They simply play their own style, which they have dubbed "Frankenrock." It is simply a blending of music created from a variety of origins, bound together on the operating table of studio and stage.
In 2003 the band let the world hear their sound with their self-released live record Moon Over Georgia. Recently MsS has been nominated for the 4th Annual Jammys in the New Groove of 2004 category. 2004 has brought more of the same in terms of national music festivals. MsS has been asked back to play High Sierra Music Festival for the 3rd consecutive year and will be at this years Mountain View Jam as well. The year 2003 had the band at High Sierra Music Festival, Langerado, Smilefest, Magnolia Fest, and Harvest Festival just to name a few.
The band is about to embark on a West Coast Tour and will be playing shows in Colorado, California, Idaho, Arizona, and Texas. Keep an eye out for them...
