Lotus is setting the stage to take the group to the next level. The band has refined their approach to music through heavy regional touring, resulting in a sound that strikes both the body and the mind with energetic dance beats and cerebral sonic textures. Time off in December was spent writing a cache of new songs, and now the organizational wheels have been oiled and the machine is ready to roll. Lotus is taking their vibe out across the entire country, traversing from Pennsylvania to the Pacific Ocean and everywhere in between.

The tour starts with a send-off show in Philadelphia at the North Star with Moonraker opening on Saturday, January 24. The sights are then set due west. Monday, January 26 Lotus plays at Little Brothers in Columbus, Ohio, Tuesday at Uncle Fester's in Bloomington, Indiana, and Wednesday at Cicero's in St. Louis. Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st the group joins up with Speakeasy for shows in Lawrence, Kansas and Springfield, Missouri respectively.

Lotus sweeps into Colorado on Tuesday, February 3 at The Starlight in Fort Collins. Wednesday is a free show in Boulder at The Dark Horse. On the 5th Lotus is at the Spotlight Lounge in Durango, and Friday in Crested Butte.

The band reaches the Pacific Ocean on Wednesday February 11, when Lotus plays a free show just outside of Arcata at the Blue Lake Casino. Thursday, February 12 is a San Francisco throwdown at the Boom Boom Room. Then it's on to Santa Barbara on February 13 at Absinthe. Lotus teams up with Signal Path for shows in Santa Cruz on Saturday and at the Knitting Factory West in Los Angeles on Monday the 16th.

The train swings back through Colorado for shows in Denver at Dulcinea's 100th Monkey on Wednesday, February 18. Thursday, February 19 Lotus returns to Boulder for an all-ages show at the University of Colorado's Club 156.

Iowa City gets served on Monday, February 23. Lotus hits Grand Rapids, Michigan for an old-skool party at Billy's on Wednesday, February 25. Thursday the band hits Goshen, Indiana before heading out to Thai Joe's in Milwaukee on Friday, February 27. A mini-live-electronica fest goes down in Chicago on Saturday, February 28 at The Note with Future Rock opening and 1000 Vertical Ft. doing the late night slot.

The tour continues in DeKalb, Illinois on Monday, March 1. Lotus hits Memphis, Tennessee for the first time on Wednesday, March 3 at Newby's, and are back at Stella Blue in Asheville, North Carolina on Thursday.
