Phil Lesh & Friends in conjunction with the local Colorado non-profit organization - The Conscious Alliance - will be holding a food drive at The Fillmore Auditorium for each of the three shows there.
 By Michael Everett |
Every fan that donates at least ten non-perishable food items will receive one of three limited edition posters designed by former Grateful Dead artist, Michael Everett. Fans that donate 30 items will receive all three posters! All posters will be available each of the three nights. Please note that low-sodium, health food items, and organic food products are especially encouraged.
Drop-off bins will be located outside of the main entrance to The Fillmore where Conscious Alliance volunteers will be passing out poster redemption coupons to participating fans. The posters can be redeemed at the Conscious Alliance table half way down on the right side of The Fillmore at any time during the three evenings. The Conscious Alliance, a 501 (C)(3) non-profit, has collected over 50,000 lbs. of food at concerts across the U.S. since March of 2002.
Half of the food will go to the Food Bank of the Rockies and the other half will go to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Last time there was a food drive at The Fillmore, 4000 lbs. of food was donated - let's try to beat that this time!
