Particle has just celebrated their three-year anniversary as a band and threw down in grand style at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on October 4th. Ratdog bassist Rob Wasserman and Banyan trumpet player Willie Waldman joined the band for extended versions of "Kneeknocker" and "Cyclops Suzie." The band also debuted some new covers and originals at this show including a Robert Palmer tribute of "Sneaking Sally Through the Alley" and "Mountain Song" by Jane's Addiction. The band wants to extend thanks to everyone who made it out to the show and have helped make the last three years possible! Particle is also riding high from their five-hour late night performance at this years Austin City Limits Music Festival as well.

Particle will once again be taking the road starting this weekend on another extensive nation-wide tour. Several friends will be joining them along the way such as hot electronica acts like Lotus and Signal Path as well as bands like The Big Wu, Addison Groove Project, and Nero.
The tour starts Friday at Spirit of The Suwannee Music Park Festival in Live Oak, FL. The following night Particle will play another one of their late night marathon shows starting at 2 am at Tipitina's Uptown in New Orleans after Widespread Panic finishes their show at UNO Lakefront Arena. Then the tour takes them through Colorado, the Mid-West and most of the North East.
The highlight of the tour will definitely be over Halloween weekend as Particle plays two late night shows at Irving Plaza in New York City on October 31st and November 1st after Widespread Panic finishes their shows at Madison Square Garden. Both shows start at Midnight and Halloween will feature a Studio 54 theme. Particle will be recreating the famed club where the all night dance party scene exploded Irving Plaza will be magically transformed into the mother of all nightclubs where everyone from Warhol to Cher got their disco on. It's going to be a magical evening of glitz, glamour, and non-stop high-energy funktronic beats!
After the tour concludes on November 15th in Boston at Paradise Rock Club, the band will take a break for a few weeks before they start again in early December with a mini tour of Arizona or The Raising Arizona Tour with stops in Flagstaff, Tucson, and Tempe. A week later Particle will return to one of their favorite venues in San Diego, the Belly Up Tavern.
Stay tuned on the recently re-vamped ParticlePeople.com for a big New Years run announcement coming soon. See you on tour.
