Help Sunshine Daydream Save The Farm
Dear Friends,
We need your help.
There are many more eloquent ways to say it. To ask for it. But when you get through the flowering prose the point will still be this: Sunshine Daydreams is in eminent danger of closing its gates forever after the Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash/Brew Glass show. We can't keep on keeping on without you.
We love you and the good times we've had together sending sounds and spirits soaring through these Appalachian Hills, but our pockets our empty and the banker man is pacing outside the door. We need your help to keep the dream from dissolving.
Four years ago Sunshine Daydreams was started with a financial partner who we believed shared our vision and our commitment to creating what you have come to know as a beautiful space to relax and enjoy music with family and friends old and new. Our partner is following his own path now and demanding full payment for his share of "the farm." We must buy him out or we must sell the property. There are no alternatives. To do this, we need your help.
We understand that these though times are not ours alone. Though we have missed seeing many of your beautiful faces at recent shows, we understand that we are struggling though this recession in the same fashion that we have danced and celebrated in better times. Together.
Thank you for making Sunshine Daydreams what it is. Thank you for sharing your smiles and joy and love and light with us. Thank you for doing anything you can to help us keep the dream alive, to help keep making our home your home.
We know that some of you can't afford to join us next month at Jerry's Birthday Bash. You will be missed. We are asking for your help even if you can't make it to the show. We are asking for whatever you can spare, to preserve Sunshine Daydreams so that when times are better – and they will be better – we can all be here dancing beneath the stars. Together.
