The seventh annual Farmapalooza Midwest music festival continues in the tradition of its grassroots heritage, as this year’s event moves to its new venue “In The Sticks” in Nelson, Wisconsin. Nestled on more than 200 acres in the heart of the Mississippi Valley, Farmapalooza will provide festival goers and music lovers with an alternative to the overcrowded, pack-‘em-in festival atmosphere.
The festival takes place over the weekend of July 24th–27th, and the bulk of the music will be heard on the Friday and Saturday at the festival. Philadelphia trance-rockers Lotus will headline the opening ceremonies on Thursday night for anyone who would like to come early. Sunday afternoon will feature a “Bluegrass Brunch” featuring regional and local bluegrass bands.
The line-up includes two sets by both The New Deal and Umphrey's McGee, and a full “sunset” by Keller Williams. Rounding out the line-up are Addison Groove Project, OM Trio, Papa Mali, The Westfall, Natty Nation, Del Mar, free space, Cornmeal, Sweet Potato Project, Circadian, several others.
Tickets are only $50 and are on sale now at sciticketing.com. Visit Farmapalooza.com for all of the details.
