Music lovers flock to Lyons, Colorado annually for the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. This year, there is even more reason to visit the poetically enchanted site. All of this summer's headliners have been either awarded or nominated for a Grammy.
2003 Best Rock Instrumental nominee and Gov't Mule guitar god, Warren Haynes, will perform solo acoustic on Friday night. Eight-time Grammy winner Norah Jones blesses the stage on Saturday night. Jones swept the 2003 awards show winning for "Best New Artist," "Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year," to name a few. The divine duo, Indigo Girls, will close the festival with their beautiful harmonies that have been gracing audiences for decades. They were awarded "Best Folk Album" in 1989.
Additional artists confirmed for Folks festival are: Chris Robinson, Richard Thompson, Patty Griffin, Todd Snider, Greg Brown, Dan Sheridan, The Neilds, Darrell Scott, Christine Kane, Richard Julian, Xavier Rudd, and Utah Phillips.

The 13th annual Rocky Mountain Folks Festival experience begins on Friday, August 15th, 2003 and will run until Sunday, August 17th, 2003. Tickets are $105 for a three-day pass.
