After a Summer Splash down on the West Coast in 2002, the boys from Psychedelic Breakfast are ready to hit the "high" road again.
The new disc, Bona Fide, which was recorded in September of 2002 offers ten tracks (if you count the drum solo) of pure energy. The album was recorded live at Pearl Street and then remixed and mastered by producer Vic Steffens at Horizon Studios in CT.
"This is absolutely the best representation of the bands live sound that has been captured on tape," says bassist Ron Spears. "The show was great! It was real hot and sweaty and some one threw a bra at Tim! You can't beat that. We were finishing off a four-night run and completely shot. That seems to be when we deliver the best performance, don't ask why."
PB will begin the tour with a few CD release shows and a nine show co-bill run with good friends the Seth Yacovone Band. The pair will cover the North and South East with stops in VT, NJ, NY, VA, GA and NC. PB will continue on through the month of March visiting TX, OK, New Orleans, CA, OR, and WA before starting the trek back.
Feb 15th will see the band host other good friends, Ray's Music Exchange for the Northampton CD release at the aforementioned Pearl St! Back to the scene of the crime!
