"All good people gather 'round, come on and join our peaceful town.... no one here goes hungry" are words from ekoostik hookah's song “Hookahville.” ekoostik hookah fan’s, referred to as the Hookah family, infectiously spreads this positive vibe of the band's biannual Ohio festival, Hookahville, to everyone everywhere they go... and soon they’ll be in Pittsburgh when the band plays at Mr. Small's Funhouse on January 25th.
Hookah Fan's for Food, a non-profit group composed of members of the ekoostik hookah fan base, continues their year-round efforts to help less fortunate individuals and families in every city the band plays (including Negril, Jamaica, where the fans donated children's items to a local school). Since its inception on December 31, 2001, the group has collected and donated more than 2,000 pounds of food and nearly 300 items of clothing. For more information about Hookah Fans for Food, please visit their web site: hookahfansforfood.org.
