After July’s blistering performance by New Orleans Grammy winning Songwriter Anders Osborne, New York City is in for a real treat. Anders Osborne, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux (Wild Magnolias), and Circus Mind featuring Cyril Neville (The Meters, Neville Brothers) come together on October 25th for Anders’ CD release party at a private SOHO loft.

Anders Osborne’s latest CD Bury The Hatchet delves deep into New Orleans’ rich tradition by collaborating with Mon Boudreaux, the esteemed Mardi Gras Indian Chief of the Golden Eagles and Wild Magnolias. The result of this collaboration is 12 tracks that bring the best of Mardi Gras Indian traditions into kicking New Orleans funk grooves. Rounding out this CD is Anders Osborne’s regular band of Kirk Joseph (Dirty Dozen Brass Band) on sousaphone, Doug Belotte on drums, and Tim Green (Peter Gabriel) on saxophone.
