In addition to the previously announced Shpongletron Experience Spring tour with Shpongle, the versatile Simon Posford is gearing up for his next project: the release of Younger Brother's scintillating new album Vaccine. Vaccine (April 26, 2011/SCI Fidelity Records) is the third album by Younger Brother, in which Posford teams with longtime collaborators Benji Vaughan and Ruu Campbell. The album, which features Marc Brownstein (Disco Biscuits) on bass, Tom Hamilton (Brothers Past) on guitar and Joe Russo on drums, marks a notable evolution from the band's electronic origins, embracing melodic song structures and organic instrumental sounds.
A “U.K.” lineup of Younger Brother tours select U.S. cities this April - with Posford (synth/guitar), Vaughan< (Ableton / synth) and Campbell (vocals) joined by Matt White on guitar, Chris Borud on bass and Nikolaj Bjerre on drums.
