Memphis in May is pleased to announce the lineup for the 2011 Beale Street Music Festival. The thirty-fifth annual three day music festival will be held April 29 – May 1 in Tom Lee Park along the banks of the Mississippi River in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. A full list of artists follows and totals 65 acts performing on 4 stages and the SoCo Blues Shack over three days. Twenty-five of the acts forthis year’s event will be making their Beale Street Music Festival debut. Tickets are on sale now exclusively at TicketMaster.

This year Memphis’ largest musical event welcomes The Flaming Lips, Wilco, The Avett Brothers, Mumford & Sons, John Mellencamp, MGMT, Jason Mraz, Ziggy Marley, Cee Lo, Stone Temple Pilots, Cake, Gregg Allman and more as an example of the deep lineup. Memphis in May President and CEO Jim Holt, producers of the Beale Street Music Festival says,“This year’s music festival is clearly our biggest ever and patrons can expect to enjoy more diversity than ever before. We have assembled a line-up of artists that are relevant, credible and filled withgreat musical integrity.”

Three-day passes are on sale at TicketMaster and can be purchased on line at www.ticketmaster.com. This three day pass is available for $69 only through April 18. Daily tickets are $30 in advance and $37 day of show.
