To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of legendary band Widespread Panic, the State of
Georgia’s House of Representatives and Senate have put forth Resolutions to be passed in honor of the Athens, GA

honored for their music, service, charity and longevity. This honor has been also bestowed on Georgia music
legends, and fellow Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductees Ray Charles and James Brown.
The event is open to the public, and will begin on the Senate floor at 11:00am EST. It will then move to the floor of
the House of Representatives for commencement at approximately 11:15am EST. Both ceremonies will be streamed
live through the Georgia General Assembly website at http://www.legis.ga.gov/en-US/default.aspx. Streams can be found separately
