DEC. 20 AT THE TROUBADOUR IN HOLLYWOOD, CA AND NYE IN BOSTON, MA
Cass McCombs will be
playing two special shows in time for the holidays. The first will feature Cass and his new backing band, co-
headlining the Invisible Children Holiday Benefit show at the Troubadour in Hollywood, CA on December 20. Invisible Children is a charity dedicated to ending the
use of child soldiers and restoring peace in the war-torn region of northern Uganda. See the show flyer here.
Cass will also be joining filmmaker Aaron Brown to create a special one-off show at Modern Theatre in
Boston, MA on New Year's Eve as part of First Night Boston.
The night starts with a screening of The Pretender, McCombs' multimedia collaboration with filmmaker
Aaron Brown.
The two have previously collaborated on the music video for McCombs' "The Executioner's Song" and "Dreams Come
True Girl," both of which are available below. This performance will use selections from the screenplay they have
written as well as still and video
projections that capture the landscape of the story.
Following the screening, McCombs will lead an all new backing band through songs from last year's acclaimed
Catacombs as well as new songs. See the show flyer here.
