Carbon Leaf, Virginia’s own American Music Award Winner, is happy to announce the return of Richmond, VA’s ONLY Campout/Concert event!
Saturday, July 20th, from 4:00PM until Midnight, The Endless Summer Luau and Campout returns to Mayo Island in downtown Richmond for more tropical fun with Polynesian dancers, fire breathers, tiki torches, games, leis, and everything else that makes a luau a luau.
This year, Carbon Leaf has added to the music bill and expanded the hours to provide fans with a full evening of first-class entertainment. Arrive at 4:00PM to set up your tent to the sounds of a regional favorite.
Then, in a special guest appearance, Jazz Mandolin Project will take the stage with Phish drummer Jon Fishman!
Then, as the sun sets and the torches are lit, Carbon Leaf will take the stage to perform their unique brand of dance-inducing acoustic-electric-mandolin rock.
For those 18 & over, the party continues as you camp out on Mayo Island. This year, camping is on a reservation basis only, so you’ll want to be sure to save your space ($20-carbonleafluau.com, and musictoday.com only) ASAP. Campers are responsible for their own survival gear: tents, bed rolls, etc (please, no food, drinks or coolers).
