Hookah Fans For Food will be conducting a food drive May 24-26 at Spring Hookahville at Buckeye Lake Music Center benefiting the Mid Ohio Food Bank.
Some really nice items will be given away to kind folks who donate canned goods. Items include a painting of Steve Sweney, Willie Nelson, items signed by members of ekoostik hookah, live shows on cd and analog tape of many different bands, a childrens book written by Tom Noonen, as well as many more things to come.
Hookah fans for food held its first food drive December 31, 2001 at ekoostik hookah's NYE show in Columbus, OH. The organization was started by Scott Preston, in an effort to exercise a social conscience while having fun at the same time. To date we have collected 585 pounds of canned goods benefiting food banks in 6 different cities.
