THE RETURN OF GARY YOUNG
Seventeen years after being fired from the band due to drug and alcohol abuse, and
(allegedly) threatening lead
singer Stephen
Malkmus
with a gun, original Pavement drummer Gary Young will be appearing with the band
for their
homecoming show on June 24 at the Bob Hope Theater in Stockton, CA, according to Matador's blog. The reunion is
believed to be a one off
appearance.
