After a highly successful run of shows in 2009, The Pixies are bringing the Doolittle tour back
the United States. All shows will be recorded and made available immediately after the show or through www.doolittlelive.com. Fuck Buttons will open all dates of the 11
city tour. Dates are available here.
The 20th anniversary celebration of the release of 1989's Doolittle saw the band perform all over the world
to glowing reviews. For this leg of the tour, the band has tapped longtime Pixies lighting designer Myles Mangino
and designer Paul Normandale to create an elaborate stage production, and filmmakers Judy Jacobs, Tom Winkler,
Brent Felix and Melinda Tupling have created 11 films for the production.
The Pixies have also announced the launch of their first-ever official
website, where fans can get all the latest news
on live dates and new releases, as well as download a free live EP.
