BuzzUniverse, the funky, feel good sextet from Northern New Jersey branched out from their home surroundings of the Northeast and now has their very first Midwest run of shows under their belts with a mini-run of weekend shows in Ohio, Indianapolis, Indiana and Michigan. BuzzUniverse brought their eclectic mix of funk, jazz, reggae, Latin, world beat and rock to Wilbert's in Cleveland. Wilbert's proved to be a very classy bar and grill located in downtown Cleveland literally in the shadows of Progressive Field, home to the Cleveland Indians.
The atmosphere this Thursday night proved to be an intimate gathering with a laid-back crowd. The locals were treated to a 90-minute set of feel good rockin' grooves. The Buzz-U set consisted of mostly original pieces with a Los Lobos jam sandwiched in the middle.
This band knows how to rock a Latin structured piece complete with violin, saxophone, and beautiful harmonies and then switch gears to the far-out funk jam! If you haven't seen these guys yet, do yourself a favor a check them out. You will be glad you did!
