Austin TX’s SpaceTruck is a quartet that crosses musical boundaries by combining rock, country and electronica. The blend of raw, original synergy with analogue ambiance makes for a fresh sound, complimented by Will Rhodes’ vigilant lyrics and fiery guitar play.
Though the Truck is barely a year old, the members of the band are very tight after playing together in the improvi-freakout quintet Big Breakfast since 1998. Big Breakfast is still one of Austin’s hottest jazz-dub-funk party bands.
SpaceTruck made a deep impression on the Austin music scene after their first show at Room 710. Since then, they have graced the stages of Stubb's BBQ, The Mercury and a host of other clubs across Texas and the South East.
The Truck’s Colorado debut will be as crushing as a 16-wheeler into the snowplows of Winter Park, Breckenridge, Vail and Aspen all put together. The signature high-energy live shows are spiced up with tha bands unique blend of styles, leaves spectators eager for more.
