Music From A Tree
The Internet is freaking cool! Seriously, if y'all haven't checked it out, get online, it's awesome. JamBase Editorial alum and current Seattle freelance maverick Jonathan Zwickel recently found this piece on said Internet and sent a Tweet to let the world know. Check out Diego Stocco as he literally makes music from this tree. And he even tuned it! "To tune the tree I picked a fundamental note and tuned the twigs by trimming them with a pencil sharpener" he says. "I used two Røde NT6 and a NTG-2 as microphones, combined with a customized stethoscope." Isn't that cute, Technology and Mother Nature living in harmony.
