Widespread Panic to Celebrate Halloween in Austin, TX

Widespread Panic will celebrate Halloween 2009 by performing two nights at the Austin Music Hall in Austin, TX on October 30 and 31. Details coming soon. Immediately following the shows in Austin (as previously reported) Panic will perform at New Orleans' Voodoo Fest on November 1.

In other Panic news, drummer Todd Nance's latest project, Romper Stompers, will perform at AthFest 2009 Saturday (June 27) in Athens, GA at 1:00 p.m. Romper Stompers is a new collaboration of guys writing rock songs from children's perspectives. In addition to Nance, the band features William Tonks, Jon Mills of Barbara Cue, Bloodkin's Daniel Hutchens and when available, Panic percussionist Sunny Ortiz.
