The Athens Music Awards (Thursday June 25) kicks off the AthFest Weekend in the Classic City. The Southeastern Tourism Society has named AthFest 2009 as a Top 20 Event for June 2009. This marks the fifth time the festival has received the designation. Bloodkin will be playing on the main stage this year as the opening act for Patterson Hood & the Screwtopians on Saturday June 27.
