PEARL JAM ANNOUNCES FOUR SPECIAL EUROPEAN PERFORMANCES IN AUGUST 2009
BAND TO PERFORM IN THE UK, GERMANY AND THE NETHERLANDS

Pearl Jam has announced a handful of special performances in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. Concerts are scheduled to take place August 13 in Rotterdam, August 15 in Berlin, August 17 in Manchester and August 18 in London. The band anticipates a return to Europe for a full-scale tour in the months following the release of their next album, which is tentatively planned for this Fall.
Public tickets for these shows will go on-sale Friday, May 8. Additional ticket information will be announced in local markets in the coming weeks.

Pearl Jam's 2009 European dates mark the band's first return to Europe since their sold-out 2007, 13-date headlining tour and festival performances in England, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Poland, Austria, Italy, Denmark, Holland and Belgium.
