Deerhunter Rainwater Cassette Exchange EP Set For Multi Format Release

Atlanta-based Deerhunter are set to release Rainwater Cassette Exchange, a new five-song EP digitally on May 18 and via retail on June 8. The recording will be available in digital, 12" vinyl and CD formats on Kranky in the United States and 4AD for the rest of the world.
Rainwater Cassette Exchange was recorded in February of 2009 with Nicolas Verhes at Rare Book Room studios in Brooklyn, NY. The first single from the EP will be the title track. Deerhunter will announce summer U.S. festivals and tour dates in coming weeks.
