Pretty good... Surprised to see Iron and Wine so far down on the list.

Atmosphere at Newport is weird, but now that I know what to expect I might head back... Waiting on Up Norths lineup.

Atmosphere is weird in Newport? Something about huge rockafeller mansions makes me uncomfortable.. you mean like that?

I really want to go to this, is it a good time?

Well, what I mean is there are a lot of stuffy elderly people there... People put out lawn chairs to keep their seats, I was yelled at to sit down by some dude in his 30's when I was dancing with my girl at Levon Helms set.

Not all bad at all though, the island is beautiful and I got really close for some special, memorable shows. Great weekend overall, but be prepared to shrug off some stiffs and realize a lot of people might find your good vibes to be annoying/weird/or "oh, how novel!".

Actually, by all means... go! I shouldn't shy any cool people who truly appreciate the music away from going. Let there be more of us! I think last year may have been particularly odd because it was the same weekend as Vibes.

Thanks for the input AintNo. I got shut out of fenway tickets and my funds are limited, so I think this is going to be a better time. Sure fenway was going to be a party, and this might be stuffy.. but this will be much more diverse and satisfying musically.

Year after year, they do not fail to have stellar line-ups.
