Its funny to me that people are taking this seriously. Do people not get that this is a joke? Ryan put video and these type of songs on his site all the time. He had rap songs up at one point.

The last Ryan Adams & The Cardinals show I went to was great. Its a shame he quit that band because they put on a great live show. Tons of great jams.

One of the best live acts I've ever seen. Up there with my favorite late eighties Dead shows, my favorite 97 Phish, my favorite 91 JGB. The dude is a legend. This is obviously a joke, but not necessarily a good one. Pink is Not Your Color s.u.c.k. sucks.

Ryan Adams is fantastic... His final concert in Atlanta with the Cardinals was one of the most superb concerts I've ever been too. I'm so glad he's playing music. What a lil bastard saying he was going to quit. I'll admit he can be annoying but seriously fantastic musician.

Nice harmonies, decent jams and IMO fantastic lyrics make Ryan Adams a viable puzzlepiece in the jigsaw that is modern american music. let me begin by saying that I like Ryan Adams. I dig Phish way more, and as a result, have a difficult time appreciating music that focuses on the lyrical, but I just like his delivery. as a result, I even enjoyed hearing him sing Dead tunes - etree's got a few shows w the Cardinals where they cover Wharf Rat, and I really dig it. I get that some may not like his delivery of Dead tunes, but to say they're butchered is hilarious, considering we've all gotten used to hearing various incarnations of that beloved band without the fat man.

First off, the metal thing sucks. Long live true metal Sabbath, Slayer, Pantera, and most recent TOOL. I have to say, as a singer songwriter with gigs that focus's on lyrical/ folksy stuff, Ryan's lyrical content is ok, just bland. You look at JB's lyrics, Hunter's, I can even dig some crapola like Jack Johnson over Adam's. Now i'm not sayin all jambands have the lyrics but those that dont tend to bring it through the music. That is true and i'm stickin to it. The man doesn't jam as hard as you all would like to think. I was part of that Moe. discussion board and involved about 2 hours of Ryan Adam's music listening to prove them wrong because I would've liked to, but I couldnt.??

I read all of these comment and feel like I'm the only one any more who likes ryan adams...Now I'm not a fan of the whole death metal scene but i dont like to limit myself to genres i like to think that i can appreciate any music for what it is...i listen to some of this ryan adams side project and wasnt too impressed that being said i understand the whole genre jumping thing that he's been known to do throughout his career its just a musician trying to keep his profession fresh and new...an overall great talent in our day and time

I love me some Phil and Friends, but out of the 80 something shows I've seen, the 6 absolute worst ones were with this Assclown.....he brought nothing to the table guitar wise, flubbed lyrics seriously, and had a very negative energy coming frm him on stage.....He may be solid in his own work, but Please, Please, Please, keep him away from Phil.....Even Chris Robinson was better.

Ryan is amazing. He writes great tunes, has a great voice and plays a pretty good guitar at this point. I saw TWO Cardinals shows over the past year and they were both smokers ! That band was one of the best bands touring over the past few year. If you saw them, then you know...if you didn't then you don't. But it is all up on archive.org. Check out both of the last Boston shows....it's all there.
