damn, i remember moe.down in 2004, 2005 and only having to pay $90.

Oh well, moe.down is probably the coolest festival of the summer that no one knows about. i love this band.

too bad i moved to the west coast (well not really) not seeing moe since summercamp is one of only a few regrets of the move. see u in may.

this fest has a great vibe for the most part... would be a lot better if you didn't have to sleep on a hill. 90 bucks is great but it also attracts bottle rocket wielding teenagers loaded on coors light! I'm just sayin'.

Whats with the hate from people? seriously. I hope you do stay away from moedown, nobody want a bunch of bad vibes. These guys are one of the best touring jam bands right now, well thats my opinion. The only bad thing about moe is trying to find your face. Its stars mellow with a groove, and then the guitar goes off and things sttart gettin intense, then right before your head explodes in the lights and crazy riffs, they mellow it back out. 3 nights at a chill festi with moe for 90?

And right off. Who were those nijas last year? That was crazy, they all desnded on shakedown like some movie. I didnt know if i was the only one who saw them...... lol peace im out

^those ninjas were the real security. assholes kicked the shit out of a kid i was camping with cause he wandered into the woods.

I drove 4 1/2 hours to see moe. at the higher ground this past week and was not let into the show for being too "intoxicated" when I had only drank 2 beers before hand, and was NOT under the influences of any drugs. the manager was very rude, kicking out me and a couple of my friends, repeatedly saying how "fried" and "rollin face" we were, when we had not had ANYTHING ALL NIGHT! Just a word of warning for anyone planning on catching any shows there in the near future, the manager is a prick who is on a power trip, and they are pretty stingy there when it comes to security. my friends who made it in said the security inside walked past them once every 2 minutes, shining flashlights on everyone. I would say try to avoid it at all costs! FUCK THE HIGHER GROUND!

Yea, Higher Ground security is rough but u just gotta be smart about it, ive been fucked up in there plenty of times. Get past security and its the best venue going

A. moe. is awesome

B. Sober Ground is the worst venue I've ever been to. I was in disbelief at how ridiculous the security was, making me breathe on their hand to try to smell any alcohol and then telling me to come back in a few HOURS after I sobered up from the 5 beers I had drank, not appearing to be fucked up at all. Constant grooving obstructions by the security the next night.

C. The nitrous ninja's really left a bad impression on me for my first moe.down. They were power-tripping the whole weekend and were assholes to everyone. If they're going to be part of moe.down 10, I'd prolly pass.

i had never been to higher ground. I guess im not sad i missed that show. I out of control security. Does it just very show to show? Has moe. become the biscuits to security?

If they have those ninjas back i might just leave. There were like 30 of them going down to shakedown in golf carts or somethin. And they def didnt handle the nitrous. So many people ragin tanks even in the parking lot. I think by later in the festival it was all back in nitrous alley, and honestly i was fine with it, i just stayed away. Was that the first year they had the men in black? I thought the orange was secrurity. idk, whole thing was confusing/out of control.

Hopefully vibes has a better method of going nitrous free. If they start ripping down peoples tents that had nothing to do with nitrous, like last year i hope people go after them. We were camped right by the portopotties by the lodge, thats where they were droppin the people off after they ripped up there tents and told them to leave. I heard people were burrying tanks up on the hill. Was that family runnin it there?

Higher ground truly does suck. I've been thrown out many times (deserved it a couple of times), security even looks over the bathroom stalls to see what you’re doing, the sound quality is bad too. Unfortunately they get the best acts around so if you wanna see them you gotta deal with it. Ninjas are also definitely wack, but Moe.down is always a good time.

Im SO BUMMED i'm missing moe.down! and only 90 bucks!!! it was such a great time last year.

i went in '02, it was pretty fun. Jazz Mandolin Project w/ Fishman tore it up, then Jamie and Fish came out with Moe. Next night, MMW burned up the weekend.
