i like the thursday lineup! hopefully there are no technical problems on the grassroots stage like there was last year when the new deal tried to play

NO reason to bag Phish, I love these band, but none of them are at the same level as Phish in a psychedelic sense of breaking on through. This seems fun, but You'd all be just as happy doing 2 Phish in ALpine and ROthbury.

BoobBox is by far the worst performing act out there. How are they even considered a professional band? They dont DO anything. All they do is stand around while the beat just keeps going and going and the "guitarist" hits 2 notes. It is so boring.

SCIcane, I gotta say last year's Thursday lineup was doper. Brazilian Girls and PGroove were nuts, and then I was absolutely blown away by The Join. Still, I think this year's lineup overall trumps last year's.

already decided to blow all my summer spending on Phish tickets -- that being said, I also avoid like the plague places where Bob Weir, Umphrey's, .moe, Keller, TLG, and Yonder will be at the same time... (All Good rocked my socks the year of the Big Summer Classic, all love to All Good!)

ya i saw boombox at rothbury for the first time and lemmi tell ya that tent was on fire, once they moved some of the tables outta the way it was a sick dance party. anyway hes coming to chicago in a week or two and im def going to that its like 10 bucks.. And this allgood line-up is pretty sick lookin, i like almost every act on the bill. wish i could go, but i can only afford one festival (broo or most likely roth, cause i can vulonteer again this year) and 4 nights of phish !!! (just lucked out and got toyota park tix, and already have deercreek and the alpines. cant wait for the summer !!!!

Geeze are you people on crack. Boombox is good times. But Fuckin Lotus is throwing down Thursday. Thats the damn story. Anyone there All Good 07 knows Lotus' 45 min set was by far one the best of the weekend. All Good is an amazing and magical place. Lotus settin it off right will keep those vibes positive, energetic, and groovin. Festival always stays true to the roots of the jam scene. I don't think any other fest keeps it as nostalgic as All Good. Have fun on Marvin's mountaintop!

pimpmcgeorge, glad you enjoyed it last year. IMHO, after the buzz i heard about BG & waiting around for them to start, i was really disappointed once they got going. just wasn't feeling it. pgroove was good though. either way, all good is always a great time.

Why does everyone think this lineup is better than last years? there's no MMW this year, or phil, or lettuce, or brazilian girls, or the join. I seriously could go on forever. This is just All Good '07 again complete with the mindless dribble of bobby fuckin weir. and lotus sucks, i'd rather see particle.

The Lineup is similar to 07's, but I had a blast on the Mountaintop in 07. last years lineup is damn near impossible to beat though: WSP and Phil are two sick healiners, Mule and DSO late night, wonderful. Not sure if i'll be able to make it to the mountain this year after Roth, but for those of you that do be sure to check out Todd Snider (songwriting king of our generation) and Cornmeal (Allie's fiddle will take your soul places it did not know existed).

yo freshflavor, AllGood 07 Lotus was sick, i remember how dissapointed the crowd was when 45 min. was up. Also, moe. that year was awesome, Lets hope they let them hold another all-star jam this year preferably let funky bitches (keller + most of moe.)tear it up. That years STS9 was killer too after bob and the duo stopped acting like teenagers.

It's no ozric tenticles thursday night jam from outer space...but lotus absolutely kills it and they will be bringing the heat for sure headlining at a festival...they never had big spots at festivals really up until now and they jut got a new lighting rig that is totally amazing, so that never hurts. I have been seeing them from the beginning too, and they have come a longg way at prefecting their psy-rock sound. As for boombox...I've never seen them, can anyone recommend a show to me to check out?

does keller seem over-rated to anyone else? I haven't seen him in a few years but does he have new material and is it any good?

All Good sounds damn amazing. Wish I could go but Rothbury is going to destroy my body and my wallet a week before.

Beatstock, Keller is definitely NOT overrated. His lyrics are funny and intelligent and he's a very talented instrumentalist.
