NOT MUCH OF A RETIREMENT, EH?
Throwin' the horns… |
Despite announcing her withdrawal from live performance, M.I.A. will be joining the ever-growing lineup at this year's Coachella Music Festival. Maybe one of the side effects of Slumdog Fever is a need to cut loose in front of thousands of sweaty Americans?
She’ll perform Saturday night just before The Killers. M.I.A.’s two previous Coachella appearances featured electrifying sets that drew huge crowds. This year, the Oscar and Grammy-nominated artist joins a lineup that includes Paul McCartney, The Cure, Morrissey, Franz Ferdinand, My Bloody Valentine, Leonard Cohen, The Chemical Brothers, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, Thievery Corporation, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Devendra Banhart and more than 125 acts for the annual festival, set for April 17-19 in Indio, CA.
She offers us some new moves for the dancing days ahead in this wacked clip.
And now more sounds to jump around to…
