yeah thats not much of a statement from the band as to why he is leaving. My quess would be dealing with grace and an interband relationsip with Matt Burr in addition to touring might wear a fellow down. Best of luck in your new directions Bryan.

I am sure it probable has something to do with Dondero wanting to make Blues and Lasers a full time project, with or without Burr and/or Tournet, both of whom are in the Nocturnals and in Blues and Lasers. Bummed. I was planning on going to Rev Hall. GP & TN will go on. A new CD is on the horizon. Summer tour. I will catch them again. But sad to see Bryan split.

What does this mean for Blues & Lasers?

just to makes things clear, Dondero left Blues and Lasers last month as well...to focus on his other musical endeavors...btw- B&L is Tournet's project...

wish the best to Bryan and the rest of the bands, always a treat to see them live...

So their first gig back is at Doheny Blues Festival on May 16? Damn... that's our show! It's on the beach in South Orange County; great vibe, great location. Also performing is Derek Trucks Band, B.B. King, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Brian Setzer, Buckwheat Zydeco... 26 bands on 3 stages.

I'll have those who are wondering know that his departure had NOTHING to do with a Grace/Matt thing...or B&L...Bryan has many talents & GPN will go on...just give em a minute!

My point exactly, what does everyone comment on. Wow, she is smoking hot, etc.. was there one comment about anything but her sex appeal. I don't enjoy there music, I don't think they are doing anything new or interesting. I have seen them perform live and there was no energy, no dancing, not a whole lot of fun. I would on the other hand have sex with Grace if she feels like giving me a call. I just don't understand why this band is blowing up.
