I think this is one of the best festivals to come to STL. Great Line Up and Im glad that there is people that have a good taste in music and know the STL scene. Big ups to Loyal Family. Im gonna promote the crap out of this show.

This is wonderful news... I haven't seen MMW in a while and EOTO is one of my favorites. The Old Rock House is a solid venue. I am always impressed with Loyal Family events... they are a really great addition to our scene. And for those of you who don't have love for St. Louis... well... I am sorry for you... and I guess you shouldn't come to our fair city... the rest of you are more than welcome and we'll show you a wonderful time...

Will any of the proceeds from the ticket sales to go to a carbon footprint foundation or in any way to help the earth? Will any of the bands/Rock House be using solar power for this event? This event is in celebration of the earth, right?

To those who said that it was a crappy festival with crappy planning...

1. The festival was a success

2. It's not over yet so go see EOTO

3. MMW on Sunday isn't a bad idea...why put a band like MMW on a Fri/Saturday when you can book them Sunday and people will come out?

4. The scene was there, and everyone had a good time.

5. St. Louis music scene is thriving because of Loyal Family, and they just upped the ante so maybe you should start checking it out.

6. How can you talk shit on a 5 day festival in downtown St Louis with beautiful skyline views as well as the ability to afford the festival (Tickets were made cheap so the public could afford it...Every act known or unknown on a widespread basis was amazing...there wasn't a second of bad music) You literally could choose what day you wanted to see and it wouldn't cost you out the ass.

7. Each day was formatted so that you could go to a particular day if you liked that style of music: For instance, you could go see Bluegrass on Friday...or you could choose not to if you didn't like bluegrass...musical styles weren't compromised.

So when you decide to talk shit on a music festival:

Know your shit...and don't just spout some shit out.

This festival was and is as we speak on of the most successful 1st year festivals without millions of dollars like Rothbury. It will only grow and pull in bigger acts in the upcoming years...it was a very good time...and it's amazing having a venue/outdoor stage with no overlaps gaps without music...it was available to the masses for free on iclips.net...

Seriously check this one out, and keep an eye on Loyal Family because they know how to promote the freshest, most original music going on right now.
