Future Rock storms into Spring 2009. Following up on the heels of a sold-out NYE show in Chicago, as well as fall and winter sell out dates supporting Matisyahu and The Disco Biscuits, Future Rock announces new dates and a Spring Tour of their own. Future Rock is joined by Canada's electro disco house outfit Shout Out Out Out Out as support for the majority of the tour. Highlights include a return visit to hometown favorite, Metro in Chicago on Friday, April 24, as well as an appearance in New York City's newly renovated Le Poisson Rouge on Friday, May 1.
Describing the live show as explosive, "part-IDM" and "part jam band," Timeout Chicago proclaims Future Rock as having carved a unique niche for themselves. The Daily Herald declares, "For those who like dance music but find something weird about watching a DJ, Chicago's Future Rock concoct driving progressive house anthems with instruments, real-time samples and live loop manipulation. This isn't your average electronic show."
