Slug and Ant will be rocking venues throughout the continent in celebration of the reissue of their critically acclaimed record God Loves Ugly and the recent release of their sixth studio album, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold. The Atmosphere live show testifies to what devotees already know: Slug and Ant are the real deal. They bring the same passionate lyricism and hard hitting beats that critics have been singing the praises of for years. The 34-date tour kicks off in Missoula, Montana on April 9. P.O.S. will be direct support through Seattle on 4/24.

Better debuted at #1 on Billboard's New Artists Chart a few week backs. The album packaging for Never Better has already been labeled packaging of the year by magazines like Giant and Vapors, and now Rhymesayers has launched a user friendly site where you can create your own panels and designs for your Never Better album. used to love the whole rhymesayers camp, but they are just kinda melodramatic to me by now... and atmos has been struggling to make a good record... i didnt like the past two. P.O.S. is a talented cat, but he has a real shitty attitude, met him on a couple of occasions, just too cool for his own good. on the other hand, Brother Ali is the best emcee around...

On a side note, i just saw Mr. Dibbs perform a joint set with Cincinnasty trashgrass kings The Rumpke Mountain boys. I was weary at first of the idea, but.... good Bluegrass + dope DJ= siiiick shit

I just heard they are playing with Brother Ali at the Fine Line in Minneapolis some time in the beginning of March. Not part of the tour. Brother Ali is one of the sickest MCs in the country. Too bad Atmosphere's fans will turn the concert in to a day-care convention. Sorry Slug, I love ya, but I'll call it like I see it.

Enough with Atmosphere already!! Ants beats have become very repetitive and Slug's style is getting old and boring. Shit the last Slug project I really liked was Felt. Slug + Murs= Hotness.

chill dude. and its not a he, its a them. and the last album was corny, give me lucy ford and overcast! all day over the past two. seven's travels was a concept, and it took a while to grow on me, and i dug it. before i got into the jam stuff, and all the funk and soul i listen to now, i was a true to the core hip hop head, and i loved atmos, all the while listening to all the classics from between 88 and 94, and all of the great underground stuff that was coming out from like 98 to 04. buuuut, the group fell off to me, and ant's best work is found on the brother ali albums.
