WINNING PARIS-BASED DUO VISITS STATES AND CANADA

"...well-crafted pop songs...an album with love and light pushing almost all the heaviness from its heart." –MOJO

"While so many Americans worship chic French culture, the French-Swiss duo Herman Dune returns the favor, performing English-language folk-rock with a breezy indie sensibility on the new album Next Year in Zion." -Time Out New York

Coming up in March 2009, Herman Dune will perform their charming, romantic folk-pop songs to audiences across North America in support of their latest album, Next Year In Zion (released October 21, 2008 on Everloving Records).

After almost a decade of traversing European towns and making their way to the U.S. to perform ramshackle shows in NYC artist squats, Herman Dune has cultivated a global cult. Comprised of songwriter David-Ivar Herman Dune and drummer Neman Herman Dune, the Parisian duo returns to the U.S. following their recent North American run as openers for indie-folk songstress Jolie Holland. Herman Dune's illustrious beginnings on the international music scene touring with the likes of Arcade Fire, The Kooks, Of Montreal and Kimya Dawson (Moldy Peaches, Juno) have increasingly exposed the duo to thousands of new fans. From early champions like legendary UK radio DJ John Peel bringing the band in to perform on his BBC program to the Dune's track "I Wish I Could See You Soon" landing on Rolling Stone's "Best 100 Songs of 2007," Herman Dune's profile only continues to rise.

^^^ No joke. I dont think that being snooty, smelly, and hairy is showing worship for chic French culture. Those are just trust fund hippies aka trustafarians
