Very perceptive Glassworks. What gave it away?

That being said... Im not one to comment much on Jambase, although I do enjoy reading the articles regularly, and when I do comment I make a point of not being intentionally negative. But Jambase, is this guy related to the editor or something? I mean, I have nothing against him but there are way more exciting acts out there. Why the minute by minute coverage of this particular artist?

Matisyahu is a decent musician with a lot of creativity...im glad he keeps doing things around the country, but i also feel as if he is overplayed and not worth all the hype that jambase gives him. and BY THE WAY, JERBAM...it seems as if glassworks' job is to make stupid comments about every little story that comes out...usually his comments make no sense and are not in any way related to the actual story about which he is commenting...his comments usually (98% of the time) have something to do with phish, even if phish is not remotely tied to the story...for example, if rothbury were to announce dates, glassworks would make a comment stating, "i'm going to see phish in new jersey" or "phish is the best band ever"...i have come to the realization that he is a moron with a one track mind...and now it seems as if he is an anti-semite as well...WAY TO GO GLASSWORKS!!!!!!!

One thing I don't understand is how this guy plays soo many festivals.. The first time i saw him he was ok, but the next time it was the same exact thing. preaching, shitty music, preaching, beat boxing, shitty music, and aking without a crown encore. hasn't everyone had enough. This guy sucks.

Agree with gurgi17 - if you don't understand how calling some one 'JEW' is offensive, then you have a lot to learn. It's not that the word Jew is derogatory, it's how it is used that makes it that way. Clearly Glassworks intended for his comment to be hateful.

First time I saw this guy perform was at Roo05 latenight with trey while peaking on mushrooms, and let me say, much more humor than anyone I saw in the comedy tent. His 1 single was catchy, but not much else to this guy's music. 2nd time I saw him was opening for trey at northerly island, and it was pretty lame. Won't be a 3rd unless he's opening for someone else I want to see. giggy giggy yo, giggy giggy yo!

Glad to see people sticking up for what's right. Even if you don't like Matisyahu's music, that is no reason to attack his heritage or culture. No reason even to point it out. I'm glad to see so many people upset and bothered by the negative comments above. Well done, Jambase community.

Hey Glassworks! You might want to reconsider going to hampton because Jon Fishman and Mike Gordon are both Jewish. They have played songs such as Avinu Malkeinu (A Jewish Prayer) at past shows and also Yerushalayim Shel Zahav (A Popular Jewish Israeli Song) at the end of the Hoist album. Phish would be a lot better off if some asshole yelling "Jew" would not be in the crowd.

Assworks. Those are my people you are mentioning too. I am Jewish. I have family in Ashdod, Israel (Not too far from Gaza). And my 10 year old niece is scared shitless after hearing some attacks not too far from her house. I'm not going to point fingers though, and say who's people are right and who's are wrong. I don't live in Israel. But I just want it to stop and ask for peace between our people. Before more people get hurt and more of the beautiful holy land for both of us is destroyed. I have nothing against you for being Palestinian. Obviously some wrong choices have been made in the past by not just my people, not just your people, but a lot of fuckin people. meh... saw him twice the first time was at lolla 06 and was pretty fun, saw him again and it was the same show. he's a cool guy and a good musicians, just can't really follow him like you can with other jambands
