hopefully this will make everyone realize what trash the KoL have become when placed next to the Walkmen.... seriously the KoL really need to come out with a really great record after infecting us with the sex on fire record and because of the times following the wonderful Aha Shake Heartbreak... bunch of squares

Kings of Leon new album is awesome! Take the sh*t out of your ears. They are really good live as well. On the otherhand, I don't really dig the big arenas either.

I have a 2nd row ticket to the Agganis show. Anybody want to trade me a Dead ticket for it for the same night in Worcester? I saw the Kings 3 years ago (when they were making good albums) and haven't had a chance to see the Dead yet.

lol @ peaton, good luck making that trade!

ok i've only seen this band once in wisconsin a few years ago before primus at the one-time hedgpeth festival, and i was really just waiting for primus to start...couldn't get into these guys at all.

but seriously...who the FUCK do these guys think they are? playing arenas and charging near $50 for a ticket? i'd consider giving these guys one more chance and see them live but not for that price. are these guys really that 'big'?!

KOL wear the smallest tightest jordache women jeans on dudes that I have ever seen in my life. Do they have small womanly hands to fit in their pockets if they need to grab some keys or something? What is with kids wearing silly as old crusty t shirts and corny clothes these days? O well beside that KOL first album is fun and was ok to listen to from time to time but after the hipster effect they lost me. Walkmen make good rnr

i lol'd at the womanly hands remark...

and yeah does hipster automatically mean 'over-priced tickets'?!

i'm curious: how long are KOL shows?

Ticket prices are way too steep....4 shows in florida is overkill....Maybe they will sell enough tickets, or not. Pure example of Live Nation BS.

Saw KOL do a two night show at the Ryman in Nashville a year or so back and they played the same set list both nights. KOL has been counting record sales since the mediocre release of "Because of the Times" album.

the new album certainly isn't on par with aha shake heartbreak, but i wouldn't say it's bad. as a matter of fact, i find it to be quite likeable. also, these guys may not dress like you dress (shame on them!), but they are very real dudes... down to earth, good midwestern folk. let's not be so judgmental simply based on appearance. with that said, those ticket prices are absurd, unless you're from the UK... they're insanely popular across the ocean.

So are the Walkmen really opening for KoL? Only the Walkmen site and jambase says they are actually playing. Ticketmaster, KoL site, and my local venue site all just say KoL are playing.

Has anyone gone to one of the shows? Are Walkmen playing a decent set and a long set even though they are the openers? I don't want to blow 54 bucks for KoL. These ticket prices are insane. I'm seeing the Flaming Lips for 50 bucks at a festival this weekend for christ's sake.
