New North Miss. Allstars Dates


The North Mississippi Allstars have announced the second leg of their "Do It Like We Used To Do Tour", named after their new live anthology, Do It Like We Used To Do: Live '96-'08 (released January 20), a 2-CD + DVD set. The Hill Country Revue will once again join the Allstars for all upcoming dates. The tour includes shows with Umphrey's McGee on April 4th and Widespread Panic on April 18th. Presale tickets are available here. General on sale is this Saturday, February 14th.

These guys really do bring it. They had 3 guitar players at the same time all throwing the heat. There bassist is also out of this world.

Dr. Funkinstein ^.... NMAS does not play "delta" blues. They play "Hill Country" Blues, as in the blues arising out of the Hill Country which is Northeasterly of the MS Delta. Oxford, Senatobia, Holly Springs, MS etc... would be considered the "hill country", whereas Tululah, Clarksdale, Greenville, MS, etc... would be the "Delta" blues. But no doubt.......NMAS brings it dirty and electric!

they tore it up in oxford the other night. it was tight this drunk ass kid jumped on stage and luther lowered his shoulder and put him on his ass back in the crowd...badass to say the least
