Indeed Mimiluv...not to mention the "sound" itself is horrific @ Jones Beach...yeah, maybe if you're on the "floor" area of the venue it's o.k., but the open space and the wind just blows the sound...literally and figuratively! Out in the lot, the mounties not only harass and ticket the tailgaters, they shut down EVERYTHING! Even better, there is no alcohol inside the venue. Saw Buffett there a while back and it was DRY! Some State Park ordinance law perhaps? Jones Bitch indeed!

reminds me of one of my first shows in Knoxville, TN in 1991. Met the band outside the venue playing frisbee in the afternoon. My ticket was only $10.95 then. Phish loves Knoxville and their history goes way back. When the power went out in 1992, they played a second set acoustic. And then there was partying with them the night before the famous 3 night run at The Roxy in '93. My friend Hak hosted a party after the Knoxville show in '93 and asked them to play AC/DC Bag, which was shelved from rotation at the time. The very next night at The Roxy, they played AC/DC Bag as the encore for Hak's 21'st birthday. So many great times in Knoxville w/Phish! Rocky Top, you'll always be...

When Bonnaroo was still a legit festival back in 03, 04 we all were hoping to see phish do a show there. Although it has gone very much down hill at least there's a chance that those die hard phish/bonnaroo fans will be able to have a dream fulfilled.

Phish should have their own festival in TN the same days as bonnaroo

yeah your right c00lmmike, I am full of shit; phishinpanic, I put in for a few shows like everyone else and have not gotten an email yet, but a friend of mine works for ticketmaster and can get six tickets to one show a year and he chose Ashville and gave me one of the tickets for 50 bucks, no service charge. We went to see the Rolling Stones two years ago in Louisville, at Churchill downs and got fifth row, so I am hoping for good seats again.

Another note to deathtonoobs422 and others who don't like "noobs"- why do you care about new fans? It is not your scene. If it wasn't for new fans, this scene would be dead. My little brother and his friends go to shows now and I have a good time with them everytime I see them at a show. You all just seem like you are trust fund kids whose daddies pay for everything.

This is a great addition to their tour. I go to UT knoxville and there are only two things that worry me. 1. Dry Campus and 2. They DO NOT sell alcohol at Tompson Boling. It should be a great show though.

Anyone here agree with me that Phish and the Dead should give all access tour passes to a good amount of people through a contest and it costs like 3-5 bucks to enter the contest and the proceeds go to children in Africa or somethin. I would love to hear someones lucky story about getting tickets for free to every show on tour. I think phish should do it for all the phans who are getting screwed by scalpers and the lottery and I think the dead should plain do it because their ticket prices are beyond ridiculous. You know they both could afford to give like 10 or so people tour passes. Anyone think that this would be a legit idea?

I cannot fathom what needs to occur in order for me to get any Phish tickets this Summer. Rejected for Asheville and Knoxville which were the easiest venues to make happen mid-week from Atlanta. Its been hacked by offshore companies in india that employ people to make requests by the thousands. Same with the the public onsale dates where scalpers use speed dial programs and hack their way into livenation/ticketbastard. There is too much money to be made by these scalping companies. Their ultimate goal is to keep as many of these tickets out of the fans hands so they can sell the tickets back to us at insane prices. What bothers me the most about this is the deafening silence from phish inc. about this whole mess.

i cant believe i'm saying this but livenation did a worse job than ticketmaster. At least it was POSSIBLE to get tix off ticketmaster. i had two tix reserved for jones beach and it gave me 10 mins to fill out all my info. I would've finished it easily if the the fuckin servers didnt suck major D. It took about 7 mins to load a single page and my tix were literally takin away from me. i probably shouldnt be complaining since i have sunday hampton tix but it honestly was unbelievably unfair

Wow, I am pretty dejected after today's experience. I really wanted to do the Jones Beach/Boston/Camden shows, but we decided that we would JUST try for the Camden show and not be greedy, and that would be our best bet. 4 times, we actually had tickets (on the web) and 4 times at the stage of paying they booted us out...it was like having a miracle stolen out of your hands...

I don't really want to pay $100 for tickets for a couple of reasons a) I don't want to support scalping, and b) It's a lot of money...

It really had nothing to do with who was experienced with buying tickets or not...I've bought hundreds of tickets in my lifetime; it simply was an overloaded system, and that was that. It is so terribly disappointing, however, when the one thing that you had your heart set on just does not materialize. I, like so many, wanted this reunion more than just about anything. Now that it has happened, I am elated but sad to say that I will not be a part of it.

Got my ticket to Camden. Took me over an hour and a half on livenation and I lost about 5 tickets due to site crashes but it finally came through.

If everyone could wait 5 min to log on so that I can get my tix it would greatly appreciated :)

Seriously this is bullshit, not only the sheer fact that they have now done this 3 times, but the fact that they still don't have the ticketing issue solved YET. I will not be going to any of the dates, and honestly I'm not all that upset about it. Had I got a ticket, cool I would have had a blast. I've been numerous times, so I know what I will be missing. Fuck it, I'm hitting up the festival scene to see MANY BETTER sets than a 3rd-go-round of phish
