Cornmeal is absouluetly awesome wish they would come back to my hometown of winona minnesota, but that may be a pipe dream these days..
I'm not sure but I kinda recall being there, great article Hersch. Who needs a memory when you got reviews
i will never get enough of cornmeal! its always a good time with some cornmeal in the kitchen
What a great band!! keep rockin meal!!!
<---new pic allie and kris! cheers
This Acoustic Christmas set looks and sounds amazing, the review is also nice.
What a great night. Norm, your photos are amazing as usual...
i can seriously get down to some cornmeal. they may seem like a bluegrass band on the surface but once their songs stretch out they have a tendency to become something different all together, like twangy funk reggae jammy crunchiness...
THE 'MEAL IS THE DEAL!!!!
hurry back for a weekend set in urbana
maybe go out on a limb and hit up chucktown il.(if you play...they will come)
They are coming to ATL in a few weeks. This will be my first chance to see them. Should be an awesome time!! These guys are awesome!!
YEE HEE!!! Go Cornmeal!! See ya tomorrow
see u at riverbend CORNMEAL!!!!
I saw cornmeal last week Wednesday and they were absolutely fantastic! Great crowd too. The Cold Rain And Snow they covered was truly amazing!
hey just got into these guys, any recommendations??
^^ there's a lot of good stuff on the archive you can browse to get yourself started. the best cornmeal i've seen has been at summercamp. The Road is probably my favorite track.
PoRNoFUnK, I would go on Archive.org and check out what they have there like schofizzl said. A good start would be the 10klf '07 soundboard they have up. But my ultimate recommendation of course would be to see them live!
They were on fire at Moe.Down9er espically when they collaborated with moe. cornmeal good...........
yeah thanks guy, Ive been listening to that "secret show" from cummercamp all day today, this is some high energy shit
yeah that show wasn't really secret at all, there was lots of people there, as you can hear on that recording. that's not typical cornmeal, it's a little more latenight jammin' out drunk cornmeal. still a great set i think i remember them playing some nickel creek that night.
