Really, besides epic, name me 1 or 2 other faith mo more songs?(that I may have actually heard before) I guess I'm the only guy who can't get excited about bands like Faith no more, portishead, love and rockets, any other washed up band attempting to make a comeback to an audience that was about 5 years old when they were in thier prime. I'd rather see beyonce than brittany, but that's just me. It's just a matter of time before Coachella is headlined by Nickleback, Lil wayne, lil zane, and lil half-dead.

Well... if these are actual leaks than it is news... but posting rumurs, which jambase does often is kinda stupid... I sent them a quick bit of info I wrote last night and nothing is posted... I didnt write an article... but an initial artist line-up for 10,000 lakes festival in MN has been leaked. It is, so far, Widespread Panic, Wilco, Dave Matthews Band, Trampled by Turtles and Wookiefoot... but they didnt post anything, but post on Coachella rumors, interesting... anyways, if you want up to date news, info, discussion boards, rideshare, videos and photos of 10,000 lakes festival, with some rothbury news in there when or if it comes... check out this facebook group....

Not sure about this lineup but faith no more is amazing live. One of my favorite shows ever was Melvin’s, faith no more and primus at this little club in Houston called the axiom in like 92, also saw them with guns and Metallica if you have never seen them live pray they come to a city near you.

Hold up..... One, I've seen grammatical errors on the site before but I'm not reading the New York Times so I'm not harping there. On the contrary, this festival has had some great acts before. I guess Jam base is being told by their readers that they just want the jam scene.

Personally, I like the site trying to spread out but Jam kids are the core of support. Nothing but respect but I have a suggestion for Dennis and company. I guess it is time to have another site ALL MUSIC BASE... Call it whatever. Every time there is an article about a band that is not jam or fest someone flips out. I love music and I thought that was what jam was about ( To bring all forms of music together) but it seems to be highly offensive to people here. Cochella is not a jam fest. I am under the impression that you should only report on something if it is actual facts.

This reeks of shoddy journalism, but I suppose we should wait until the real lineup comes out so we can compare and see how accurate the rumors are. i don't think anyone should be surprised about the popiness of coachella. they've always been slanted toward the mainstream.

No way faith no more will reunite, especially not the real FNM with Jim Martin. Better chance of Mr. Bungle reunion. I did see Mike Patton with Peeping Tom (sans Rhazel) at coachella in 2007. Danny Devito came out and introduced the band, it was quite a spectacle. Mike Patton also commented on how bad some of the other musicians were.

As for all you angry hipsters and hippies furiously scratching your beards (both ironic and not). I think what I have always thought about Coachella and all its major indie band festivals...they generally lack what makes an outdoor event like that fun. Everybody is so caught up in judging each other that no one takes the time to enjoy themselves beyond bragging about who has a bigger vinyl collection or how My Morning Jacket or Of Montreal keep selling out. And trust me, I'm not just saying that because I don't like 90% of the rumored line-up, I say it because I've been to many different kinds of music festivals from folk to electronic to indie to jam.

Also, since it hasn't been said yet I figured I'll put it out there for everybody that doesn't understand why Britney Spear would make the line-up...it has to do with this uncanny hipster irony of a major pop singer like Britney playing at a indie festival like this. I just think its funny because she doesn't even write her own songs and hipsters love talking about originality even though indie music is rarely original.

Attention to all interested parties on the east coast the best indie festival in the country is a 3 day event in NYC during the fall and it will never be on JamBase because no one has ever heard of the bands that are involved outside of Brooklyn or San Fran. The name alludes me rightnow but its pretty cheap if you buy your tickets a year a head of time(which is what I did a few years back).
