i'm sorry but these guys are incredible, mathis adds a ton to their shows, the guitar work is fantastic, trevors singing and voice are silk smooth and very easy to listen to, drums are solid. what hooks me are the songs, good solid song and lyric writing. for a four piece these guys have a full and polished sound. they are great in a smaller bar type venue, i am wondering if they will progress to the next level and hope their sound doesn't lack in a larger venue.

i love my tea.. always have . of course a little bit less w/o milky .. mainly cus he had the stage presence / songs that kept us front right people dancing our hearts away. but you gotta love the classic sound TLG gives off.

New bass.. Reed mathis. For good. Quit his band to join this one. Which is good .. i guess (unless you're a JFJO fan.. then you just got bent over).

You'll ever seen Steve adams up there with em. That shit rocks.

Ah, I've been waiting for this review! Love some TLG. While I was very happy to be in Denver for NYE, I would have LOVED to have been at this show!

Corey: eahhhhhrr. wrong. Mathis is clearly a smart man and will be doing what he should have always been doing...playing with kimock and the coming crazy engine.

MoePhish: you should have seen this coming if you were at Owsley's for KJGBw/MS in Denver.

Parsons: You are wrong as well. JFJO is thrice the band of Pee Wee Glee

Excellent review. Was there front and center for this show and it was incredible. "Standing at the end of one year and about to welcome in a new one – especially one so saturated with hopes and promises you can practically feel it collapsing under our collective expectations already – I felt good, and more over, I felt understood and less alone wrapped up in TLG's windswept sound." My thoughts exactly. Rock on Tea Leaf!

I cant believe they let you in this show wearing a poncho! Isnt there a long-sleeved collared shirt dress code at this place?

This show was GREAT! Specifically, the Piss It Away. Wow. Reed brings in an entirely new dimension to the band. We'll all miss Milky, but you can't fault a musician for following his heart. And that goes for Reed as well.

And I wish all of the "JFJO/TLG is better than TLG/JFJO" would stop. What are you trying to prove? That only YOU know music and no one else does? They're both great, IMO. And if one is not your cup of tea (pun intended), then wish them luck and move along.
