not too sure about the Bootsy comments. I am from Cincy, and he has proclaimed himself the music ambassador for our city. He is all over the freaking place, all the time around here. Now i love Bootzilla and all, but everytime I have seen him recently (Buckethead, Freekbass), he is turning into more and more of a hype man. He just stands on stage and calls out shit like, "Yeeeaahh, thats what im talking about." I love what you have done for music and our city boots, but put your bass back on, take your wig off, and lets see what you got!

what happened to kimock doing something with bobby lee rodgers?? maybe he'll be one of the 6?? HOPEFULLY bobby vega will jump on board! i think rodney is a good possibility, but it's hard to say with all the projects he's been dipping his toes into, who knows? regardless of who joins, its gonna be absoutely mindblowing!!!

yeah, i think john morgan's gonna be the most likely to fill that spot, especially with all the playing hes been doing with steve and melvin over the last two years. if not, it's probably between rodney and sipe. you can't go wrong with any of the above, though!

So Stoked to hear this! If anyone has a chance, check oout the Kimock-Seals-Vega-Molo show from Sonomo County this past summer. I think you can download it off Kimocks site. It was one of the best shows in recent memory...with a lineup that absolutely rips! Classic Kimock and Melvin was singing:) People were so stoked! And BTW, I don't think Kimock and Phil ever made up after Further Tour when they had "disagreements", but Jimmy or Warren or even Karan can most certainly fill the shoes.

and then Phil Lesh influenced these characters Kimock and Seals.

Great news. Would love to see Alphonso involved. Hope if John Morgan is in Rodney is in with him.

Just checked Rodney's website, it does not rule him out but he (and Moose) is playing with Jim Weider (Project Percolator) in Europe in March.

I know I seen a new years show a few years back and Kimock had a great thing set up where all the fans were staying in South Denver at a particular "hotel". Is anything like this happening this year?

My guess is that he'll grab ol' Colin Parker. That guy can shred! As long as his hair doesnt get in the way. Then put a little Miller Andrews on lead vocals/harmonica and Michael Jefts and Brady Carrington sharing bass duties. Probably won't happen, but we can dream cant we?

Just bought my tix for 12/31! Wow...'s gonna be a loooong night...WSP at the Pepsi Center...JGB/Kimock and Eric McFaden Trio after-party...would be way cool if WSP show up at Kimock's show...hey, gyuete...maybe check out Residence Inn by Marriot on Champa Street...lots of us spreadheads staying there...it's a couple blocks from Owsley's Golden Road.
