Bob Dylan 2009 Europe Tour

Yeah, they love Bob just as much across the pond as we do in America, and they'll pipe down during the ballads in concert, which makes the card sharp mustachioed Dylan smile. The man and his ever-traveling band return to Europe on March 23, 2009, starting in Stockholm, Sweden and hitting Oslo, Munich, Amsterdam, Rome and numerous other spots. The tour is currently set to conclude in Dublin, Ireland on May 6, but more dates will be announced so there's a decent chance that may not be the finale for the so-called "Never-ending Tour," which is actually taking a break until this European tour.

Find full tour dates here.

Dylan does thrive live sometimes like this "Shelter From The Storm" from 1976. Nice doo-rag, Bob!

Funky version of a great song... Sweet.

Dylan live is apparently hit or miss thesedays, but thankfully he's been "on" both times I've seen him.

Unfortunately assworks, your limited musical brain doesn't allow for you to appreciate things such as Bob Dylan in this early stage of development. Don't worry....there's hope.

Sometimes the phenomena known as MTV or Musical Tunnel Vision ( in Glasswork's case obviously Phish )gradually disappears as the subject enters full adulthood leaving said subject with the ability to process and enjoy music in it's entirety.

I wish you luck, sir.

glassworks, why do you post on every article? You seem to amaze me everyday with a new way to yourself and human beings in general. Really, the only thing going for you in you picture of hampton, which we are all really excited about. So what are you saying "Really," to this time that Bob Dylan is on tour, that you dont think updating music fans about the plans of one of the greatest singer songwriters is worth you time. Heres what I want from you for the holidays. Please stop posting negative immature stupid pea brain remarks. I am sorry that I went off but I had unprotected sex last night and I think she was having crabs for dinner if you know what I mean, so that plus the continuous negativity of glassworks did not start me day off on the right foot so sorry once again my fellow music lovers. Have a safe and beautiful evening and go see live music

dylan is a talented musician that stood the test of time.

he is so talented, and beautiful.

His voice is going, but his spirit is still strong.

As long as he still has the energy to put on a concert, I will gladly go. Even if he is having an "off day".

anyone who doubts dylans greatness, is just an idiot.

One of the best videos relayed via ever!

Great job Editor! (if you have the time Dylan would be a great sunday stew!)

This is the time of the year in Fargo, when I wish Dylan would come back to his roots in ND and the Iron Range in MN.

I have seen him 30+ times in large and small venues and his show never gets old.

I love this video. I saw dylan in canindagua last tour and thought it was not this, it was still good. The tunes are very different but done in interesting ways and his band is very strong. as a musician i felt like i was traveling to mecca.

GLASSWORKS has once again shown us that he is one of the kids who goes to festivals and shows for everything but music. drugs, dumb little hippie girl poon, and glassworks to show his friends back home. douche

Bob and I go way back. Thankfully the Never Ending Tour remains intact. Our brothers and sisters in Europe love Bob, perhaps more than we do in the States.

Yup, Hard Rain is indeed the shit. That album's version of Lay, Lady, Lay kicks an obscene amount of ass.

His spirit is def still alive as is apparent on his latest album, Modern Times, which a testiment that the creative juices are still flowing strong.

its a reminder that the world can be an intelligent place when people like bob dylan achieve success. if i had to believe anything i'd say he would rather us disregard all the negativity as it thrives on the attention it inevitably receives. they are generally weak minded people who cast unknowledgeable opinions, but made of flesh and bone like us all. as a better example is set they may eventually understand what is desired of them, or not. collective conciousness can defeat all malice.

Ummm...god bless the man seriously. I would go so far as to say that Bobby D is the greatest singer/songwriter ever. However, his current live show is pretty lousy. First off, the man doesn't play guitar anymore...he plays a keyboard. Supposedly this is due to arthritis in his hands. Secondly, he has rearranged all of his tunes into this slow and boring back-porch country style. No offense Bobby, but people save your money and buy his live releases from the 60's-70's.
