I would have a hard time choosing where to be in all that. Lettuce vs. MMW on Day 1, Leftover vs. ALO late night, etc, etc. That's a good problem to have.

Can't f'ing wait!!! My 1st JamCruise and I am bringing six others with me who have never been either. This looks to be sheer mayhem. How anyone could look at this floating festival and not be impressed is beyond me. Maybe Smashy needs to actually go to the Jamcruise site and read up on it a bit. This isn't Grandma's cruise. One thing that I like about this trip is that it is going to be old school professional party'ers. No shwilly kids looking to get a sip of my beer. If you can afford to do this, then you would think that you'd have a clue. Viva la Jamcruise!

i can't wait to get back on board. i'm happy the boat is so much bigger this year...i got pretty seasick last year from all the swaying. "we're gonna have a funky good time.... oh yeah!"

One of the reasons my wife won't be back is she was so seasick this past January. I spent a great deal of money for a balcony suite that she spent 3 days puking in ....

about to sign up for my 5th jam cruise

this is the total superbowl of all festys - less than 2K cruzers - no wookies with pit bulls trying to steal your sheet = intimacy, your own bathroom (with real hot water), shower, someone makes your bed - no sleeping on rocks, like at camping festys. KILLER LINEUP, JAM ROOM

sell the house, the car, hatever it takes - do not miss the best time of your life!!!

I went on jamcruise #3. The best fest I ever been too! Includin lemonwheel, the roo, cypress, all of 'em. It was what I refer to as "The ballers ball". The peeps on there either had a real food job, or was "successfully self-employed". Not to mention being on the water makes people horny... It was first class the whole way.

EXCEPT being drunk before the boat moves, and getting terribly seasick when it does, spending the night in your inside cabin while Les claypool is playing in the theater above your room. I never been so sick and in so much pain. Every boom from his bass sent painful shockwaves through my skull. My friend brought me the magnetic bracelets and they took care of the seasickness. From then on I raged it! Cant wait to go back.

One night I passed out early, 4 am, and woke up to my roommate, who i just met before the cruise, comin in our room with a group of peeps. I hear him tryin to be quiet, but I turn around anyway and who do I see? All my friends from seattle who I havent seen in 2 years... My PKE METER kids... he met them on the deck partying... small world....

The whole boat is like living backstage. All the artists mingle around and enjoy the shows with you! And as the last morning came, I had breakfast with jon fishman, Col. bruce hampton and jimmy herring. All at my table. i cannot describe any further how cool it actually was. There is nothing I would rather do...

what Smashy meant was...

I work at a grocery store, so this is just way too expensive for me... I prefer standing outside of shows in the dead of winter asking for someone to "miracle me" with a free ticket! Have fun Smashy!

My 6th cruise and what can I say? it doesnt get any better. Last year in the jam room I watched Steve Kimock,Grant Green Jr., Karl Denson and Fishman jam out from like 7 feet away. The experiance cant really be described! everyone should do it once!

That JamRoom set was unreal. I just stood there watching Col. Bruce and Warren Haynes do a vrsion of "Space Is The Place" that left my knees weak.

The picture they are showing with this article is us about to leave a port. we are parked next to a bigger boat and there was a bunch of travlers from the other ship watching as Franti and Spearhead were kicking off the sail-away party for that day. They were a lttle awe-struck at the freaks and the general Tom-Fooleries going down while we had a fully pimped out sound stage rockin the boat as we pulled off. It was pretty cool.
