Having seen its audience double in size from 2007 to 2008, STAGECOACH: California's Country Music Festival, returns to the California desert, Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26. The beautiful Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA, once again plays host to an impressive lineup featuring some of the top talent in the country music world today including headliners Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Reba and Kid Rock. Other notable names to the roots and jam crowd include Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, Earl Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs, Ralph Stanley, Charlie Daniels Band, Reverend Horton Heat and The Duhks.

The initial STAGECOACH 2009 lineup, representing a broad range of musical styles, also includes Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Poco (Richie Furay, Jim Messina, Rusty Young, Paul Cotton, Jack Sundrud and George Lawrence), Darius Rucker, Chris Cagle, Lady Antebellum, Jerry Jeff Walker, Lynn Anderson, Doyle Lawson, Danielle Peck, Dale Watson, Zac Brown Band, Waddie Mitchell, Randy Houser, Hot Club of Cowtown and James Intveld.

Alongside the wide variety of musical options - the critically acclaimed gathering features artists from the genres of mainstream country, bluegrass, folk, roots rock and alt-country in three performance areas - concert-goers will experience a weekend of fun for the entire family. STAGECOACH also includes a leading BBQ competition and expanded camping area with amenities exclusive to campers.

i don't know if i like kid rock better as a fake gangsta pimp or a fake cowboy... at least he was funny in Joe Dirt... anyway i hear Reba shows are off the hook! and at a festie, it'll probably get wild. maybe they'll have her in the late night rave tent, lol. break out yer glowsticks cowboys, it's dancin' time.

Pretty good undercard, some honest-to-god legends, but, yeah, probably not gonna make this one. And since when is Reba McIntyre just Reba? I know that is what her tv show was called (never saw it so I won't judge) but is she really in the Cher/Madonna realm these days? Who knows? Don't really have to worry about it.
